How To Teach Your Beagle "SIT"

Beagle is a breed of dog is very smart and easy to train. One of the basic exercises that are generally taught first is to teach them is to sit according to our command.

As is known that before the train we should have the confidence to become her leader and can provide direction firmly and clearly to her.

My experience starting to train Beagle puppies is from 3 or 4 month-old puppy which have started to understand when we call her name.

At the start of the exercise, hold on a treat with hand. then we call her name to come to us. puppy will usually jump up and down towards us because of pleasure. What we must do is hold her first so she's a bit quiet and try to position our body is standing up and our eyes are looking to her eyes.

Next we show her the treat but should not be given first. Hold the treat with a position slightly above her head and then try to say "SIT". Repeat the word for 5-6 times and then  while repeating the words we help to put her in seated position in accordance with what we want. Do it with gently and avoid harsh measures because they are traumatized and afraid. Repeat this until she did it alone without our help then give her praise and give her the treat when the trick has been completed. This takes consistency and your Beagle will quickly catch on to this trick.

My experience, if we done consistently every day then within a week your Beagle have understood very well and try to always be repeated.
